Magic Lite welcomes Jeff Harris as Senior VP of Business Development

Magic Lite has appointed Jeff Harris to the position of senior vice president, business development. Jeff brings more than 28 years of experience in the commercial lighting field to Magic Lite. His experience in the electrical distribution field with Gerrie Electric encompasses all aspects of commercial lighting and distribution including branch management, sales management, leading up to the position of marketing manager. Jeff’s additional experience at Cooper Lighting as national sales manager, energy solutions where he was responsible for attainment of division and corporate goals for sales growth and profitability, market development, direction and management of the activities of sales agencies and personnel including administrating and development of strategic plans and customer acquisition of National Accounts. His role here will be to build national distribution by working with sales agencies, and on building new streams of revenue through targeted sales and marketing programs.

Magic Lite relights Rusty’s at Blue,
Blue Mountain – Intrawest resort.

The owners of Rusty’s at Blue wanted a new unique look while respecting a reasonable budget. Peter Richardson of White Knight LED turned to Magic Lite for lighting products that would produce the WOW effect when combined with his creative talents. The results are quite impressive. Micro LED Light Cable (MLS) was selected and installed indirectly under the facia. MLS is made with ultra-bright LED’s encased in a durable PVC flexible extrusion providing a clean neon look at a fraction of the price and 1/10 of the energy consumption. MLS is CSA approved and is fully field cuttable making it very simple to install.
